اعطاء الطالب نظرة عامة عن مبادئ ومفاهيم الهندسة الكهربائية, وجعل الطالب قادرا على ان يعرف عناصر الدائرة الكهربائية  وامكانية تصميم و تحليل وتبسيط الدوائر المعقدة وتحويلها الى دوائر بسيطة بأستخدام اهم النظريات الكهربائية من اجل استخراج قيم التيار والفولتية ومن ثم حساب القدرة. بالاضافة الى ذلك, اعطاء الطالب فكرة عن الخصائص الفنية للعناصر الفعالة وغير الفعالة في الدوائر الكهربائية مثل المقاومات والمحثات والمتسعات والمحولات والمولدات و الدايود والترانسستر واهم تطبيقاتها في الحياة العملية وايضا جعل الطالب قادرا على ان يميزالفرق بين عمل الدوائر التماثلية مثل المضخمات والمذبذبات والمقومات وعمل الدوائر الرقمية مثل البوابات المنطقية والدوائر التتابعية.
