COMUNICATION LABORATORY

The communication lab is  pratical side applied the theory  to the study being considered by the  student  in the department of commuincation engineering  during  the  third and fourth  of the study where students learn the foundations of analogue and digital communications systems through the implementation of communication departments implication  analogue , digital and pulse  and how to calculate magintude of power  and  drawing waves entering and leaving each system values as well as how to convert from analogue to digital and conversely. Laboratry aims to prepare engineering staff specialized in the field of telecommunication engineering to keep pace with the rapid development in the field of telecommunication engineering. The implementation of the laboratory practical experiments using special specifications such as function generator  and osclliscope and voltmeter addition to private kate of the practical experment

Devices used in the lab
  1. Oscilloscope

Is an electronic measuring device allows to show and draw a reference volatge are usually bi-dimentional diagram of the electrical effort on the vertical axis versus time on the horizontal axis and has two entrances, which can draw a different two signals and either draws and only one of them on the display screen . it is one of the important devices used in study waveforms of the currents and the efforts and measuring values  addition to power and frequency.

2.Function generator(1)

It is an electronic circuit produces a temporary time signal and be shaped signal may be square or triangular or sinusoidal shape.

3.Spectrum analyzer

It is a device used to measure the value of the incoming signal with a frequency within the frequency device. Electrical signal incoming be analyzed to  frequency , capacity  and bandwidth . Representation of frequency signal on the horizontal axis versus amplitude on the vertical axis.

4.Function generator(2)

It is an electronic circuit produces a temporary time signal and be shaped signal may be square or triangular or sinusoidal shape.

Microwave Laboratory

The student studies in the laboratory characteristics of electromagnetic waves within the microwave frequencies package, and they learn how to deal with the available microwave systems parts in the lab, which is equipped with laboratories section that keep pace with the movement of scientific development in the world. The student looked through laboratory tests to the equipment in the lab on a range of practical applications of microwave communications systems within. There are complementary devices to work and laboratory systems that help increase students’ understanding which devices are used in the process of standardization of telecommunications engineers.

1.Microwave power supply

The Gunn power supply has built in 1 KHz square waveform for modulating the PIN diode for detecting by SWR meter.

2.Oscilloscope device

Oscilloscope is considered of the most important devices of the microwave signal in that it enables us to see the signals at multiple points of the circle and we can see the shape of the  signal and find out whether the shape sine or square or other. The shapes of the device can vary, but they all contain similar control keys.
