Received his Ph.D. degree in Structures from Moscow State University of Civil Engineering / Russia in 2005. Dr. Ali laftah Abbas is Assistant Professor at Civil Engineering Department, University of Diyala. He has PhD degree in Structure Engineering in 2006, in 2000 received Master degree in Structure Engineering, and 1997 received a bachelor degree of Civil Engineering, all his degrees received from University of Baghdad, Iraq. At University of Diyala, he populates a lot of paper in his major in Iraqi and international scientific journal. In addition, he has participated in many conferences as participant researcher and as conferential committees. Moreover, He is member of Diyala University Development Commission, and has served as chairman, committee member of many graduate committee defense in Iraq universities. At department of Civil engineering, he has taught a wide range of courses in undergraduate and postgraduate. Now, he is deputy dean for academic affairs at college of Engineering Diyala University, also he was a director of Engineering Consulting Office,director of Engineering Affairs at Diyala University. | |||||

Salman joined the University of Diyala as an assistance lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering in 2004, having completed his Structural Engineering BSc and MSc at the Building and Construction Engineering Department-University of Technology / Baghdad-Iraq in (2002 and 2004). In 2012 he got a PhD in Civil Engineering at the University of Baghdad(Iraq). Abbas H. Mohammed is a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, Engineering College, Diyala University, Diyala, Iraq. He has more than 13 years of teaching and research experience. His major research interest includes structural analysis, optimization, post-tensioned structures, concrete design and finite element analysis program (ANSYS). He has published more than 12 research papers in the refereed international/national journals and conferences. He received B. Dr Mohammed Shihab Mahmood joined the University of Diyala as an assistance lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering in 2007, having completed his Civil Engineering BSc (first class degree) at the Military Engineering College (Baghdad) and Structural Engineering MSc at the University of Technology (Baghdad). He was subsequently promoted to a Lecturer in 2010. In 2015 he got a PhD in Civil Engineering at the University of Nottingham (UK). Now, Dr Mahmood is the director of postgraduate studies at the Department of Civil Engineering.Mahmood main research areas are the performance of steel connections and the strengthening and rehabilitations of reinforced concrete structures. His work includes the investigation of the performance of blind bolted connections to tubular hollow sections. In the strengthening and rehabilitation area, his work includes the use of fibre reinforced polymers and the development of sustainable binding materials |

Recently, She also received a PhD degree from Cardiff School of Engineering, Cardiff University, United Kingdom, in 2018. From 2005 to 2010, she was a Lecturer Assistant and then a Lecturer in 2011 in the department of Building and Construction Engineering at the University of Diyala. In 2012, she travelled to the United Kingdom to finish her PhD in the department of Architectural, Civil & Environmental Engineering, and the research theme: Energy and Environment and within the research group: The Building Research Establishment (BRE) Trust Centre in Sustainable Engineering, School of Engineering, Cardiff University. Her research interests are in the areas of photogrammetric processing and information extraction from Airborne and Spaceborne images, image processing and computer vision with applications to remote sensing, GIS for Renewable Energy and urban sustainability applications. She participated and attended several international conferences in different countries and her publications in the various journals and conference proceedings. She has been awarded many certificates in the different events, courses and workshops. | |||||
