Current research interests are related to vibration, mechanical stress analysis and mechanical corrosion. Experience in engineering consulting with international and Arab companies, teaching for more than 22 years in Arab and Iraqi universities and institutes. Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, University of Nasser, Libya, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering,  Diyala University 2014-2016. Senior supervisor on teaching common materials and graduation projects. Currently a member of the teaching board in the Department of Materials Science
