It involves the manipulation of the atomic structure at nanometre level (10-9 of a meter), to create new material with unique, and superior properties which have a great difference in chemical ,optical ,magnetic and electric properties from the bulk material.

There are various ways that nanotechnology can be either used to supplement or to replace existing technology . At the point when these are acknowledged and discharged to the market, depending upon the handiness and additionally curiosity of the development the potential for breaking into the market could be boundless and now we should take some of the ways that nanotechnology can be executed in various areas of technology.

Devices using wireless communication range from TV recipients to RFID tags, and mobile phones to satellites. Internet access from mobile phones and tablets is developing exponentially, which puts expanding demands on the execution of mobile phones and networks. Radio frequency (RF) electronic parts utilize a lot of components, like capacitors and inductors, which can't be scaled down as quick as transistors and computerized digital electronics circuits.

It is anticipated that within the next 10‐15 years the current RF technologies will not be able to response the ever increasing performance requirements of mobile handsets. Wireless sensors for health and sports monitoring have already become commonplace, and wireless connections are used extensively between household devices, in security systems and in monitoring and logistics systems in factories and warehouses. The development of wireless sensor devices to get smaller, cheaper, less power consuming and more efficient is expected to have considerable impact on these areas and enable new solutions for services, healthcare, environment monitoring, and logistics.

The main drivers for using nanotechnology in wireless devices are:
